since i downloaded and paid $$$ for Object Desktop ultimate i've been fighting with Windowblinds, I have all the latest drivers so it is'ent that  .

this is what is happening i load a skin, some times it will load some times it dosent, but if it dose after a restart the skin is all messed up (only half a skin, differnt skin or diffrent parts of two skins).

I've un-installed and deleted all the files in the windowblind file and re-installed again 3 times with my virus scanner turn off and still no go.....

And now i've just about had enough of it all.......

any idear's would be great before i ask for my money back..............

And i have NEVER had pro's with windowblinds before..

Thanks robbie boy

You can go to nvidia.com to get the latest drivers......you are never limited to going through a PC maufacturer for you updates for most hardware.....

If you are worried it will void you warrenty...then set a system restore point before upgrading the drivers....

Upgrading drivers and messing with settings in my AVG 8.0 free antivirus software got WB 6.1 working flawlessly for me.

So here are a few things we would like you to try.

Here is a post about laptop drivers from a while ago: https://forums.wincustomize.com/172500

Lots of good updates through that site.

Press and hold the Windows key, press R and type the following into the Run dialog:
dxdiag

Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file in a email to support@stardock.com with a link to this forum post. Please also include a screen shot of the dual skinned themes.

Is it just with certain themes and not others that this occurs? What happens if you empty out the themes folders and just use the basics?

Please also keep in the mind that the software is still in beta. If this issue persists you might need to revert back to the last release.

I went to both Sony's and Nvidia's web sites and there are updated drivers for your video card and in case you missed this, this is sony's site for your notebook . Hope some of this helps. WWW LinkWWW Link

Seabass' post mentions laptopvideo2go. In case it matters, I used that site for years to get updated drivers for my laptop (HP zv5000 with a Nvidia GF4200Go chip in it), and never had any problem with them. Of course, updating drivers isn't something to take too casually, so make sure you take appropriate precautions. Just wanted to add an endorsement for the tip. Cheers and good luck!

did you try the things I said, or no? I'm concerned it may not be a driver issue....

I have all of the Nvidia stuff from the CD installed on my machine without any issues... wanted to note that as well... but it's worth shutting it all down to see...

Then it's not drivers. List all your security apps and versions. Run 'dxdiag' (it's in your system32 folder and make sure it shows Directx 10 and no problems are listed at bottom of panel.
